The Sports Science Institute of South Africa (SSISA) has announced that Edwin Moses, the two-time Olympic gold medallist and Chairman of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, has been confirmed as one of the keynote presenters for the 4th Annual Discovery Vitality Fitness Convention which will take place from 3 to 6 May 2006 at Vodaworld in Johannesburg.

According to a press release from the SSISA, Moses enjoyed a run of 107 consecutive victories in 400 metre hurdles finals with a massive winning streak lasting nine years, nine months and nine days. He broke the world record four times.
The four-day Fitness Convention, organised by the SSISA, promises to be bigger and better than previous years, with practical workshops for personal and group training, lectures, business development skills, science and research application as well as up-to-date industry trends.
"It is the ideal opportunity to update your knowledge and network with health club managers, biokineticists, personal trainers, sports scientists, physiotherapists, group fitness instructors, NGOs and investors involved in the health and fitness sector," the press release stated.
