 Back, neck and hip injuries

These injuries have been classified according to the following anatomical areas:

Neck:
Injuries to this area include cervical fractures, cervical dislocations, acute strains of the neck and upper back, cervical sprain (whiplash) and cervical disk injuries.

Spine:
Injuries to this area include lower back pain arising from congenital anomalies, mechanical defects of the spine, back trauma and repeated strains or sprains of the lower back. Also encountered are lumbar vertebrae fractures and dislocations, lower back muscle strains, myofascial pain syndrome, lumbar sprains, back contusions, sciatica, herniated lumbar disk, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis.

Other categories include sacroiliac sprain and coccyx injuries.

Pelvis:
(Since this area also includes the hip area this will be included in this category.)

Injuries to this area include groin strain, trochanteric bursitis, sprains of the hip joint as well as a dislocated hip joint.
