Habana marked his first international start on 27 November in the test against Scotland with two breakaway tries in the first half of the game - this added to his previous try for South Africa in the test against England.

Allister Coetzee, Springbok backline coach, says of Habana and fellow wing Jaque Fourie: "There is not a lot one can do to counter speed, enthusiasm and an enterprising spirit, as well as the ability to pop up anywhere on the field.
