Planet Fitness has a membership of 160 000. They simply aim at providing an environment in which fitness and health become a lifestyle.

Membership
A Planet Fitness membership does not have a set amount. A tailor-made contract is made after a general fitness check-up and an assessment of fitness goals is made.

A standard contract could roughly cost R329. There is a special student offer which is at a reduced price of roughly R179, but the price may fluctuate depending on the criteria mentioned above. There is no joining fee.

Operating times
Monday-Friday: 05h00-21h00
Saturday: 07h00-21h00 (some clubs close at 20h00)
Sunday: 08h00-19h00
Gyms are closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
