Take the one end of the theraband in your one hand and tie the other end around a solid object.
Stand with your feet apart and your other arm at your side.
Now pull the theraband, moving only the forearm by extending your elbow. Your arm should form a straight line, parallel with your body.
Return to starting position and repeat.
- Perform the movement in a slow, controlled fashion throughout the exercise; don't allow the theraband to jerk back into position.
- Try to keep your upper arm and the rest of your body as still as possible.
