"I started with the Body for Life programme the same time as my husband (also a BestBods participant)," says Salome.

Salome's weight dropped from 85 kg to 64 kg after 84 days on the programme. She lost a total of 21 kg, and went from a size 38 to a 32.
"I followed an exercise programme that included weight training and cardio. My cardio training was made up of walking on the treadmill, riding the bicycle and using the stairmaster," Salome says. "I trained six times a week, for one hour at a time.
Salome's eating plan is made up of a healthy combination of protein foods, carbs and vegetables. She also uses supplements to boost her nutrient intake, and drinks a lot of water throughout the day.
