I think your first statement:- Only 1,1% of the water on earth is suitable for drinking. is a misrepresentation of the truth. Although the figure is close to what we have as drinkable water in its current state, the truth is that with the correct purification system 99% of the water on the planet is drinkable. Although man has and is continually contaminating our natural water supplies
