Take action:
Keep an eye on what your kids are eating in your own home, at school and at their friends homes; make provision for plenty of healthy snacks and pack healthy lunch boxes; avoid take-away foods and high-energy snacks; teach children to eat balanced meals regularly and not to skip breakfast; arrange play sessions with other children; and take your kids for long walks in the fresh air, or cycle or swim with them.
