Here's how to help your child sleep better: stick to a consistent bedtime routine – set aside 30 minutes every night to help your child get ready for sleeping; interact with him/her at bedtime – read stories and don't let the television, computer or video games interfere at that time; don't let infants fall asleep while they're being held, rocked, fed a bottle, or while they're nursing; and don't allow your child to have foods or drinks that contain caffeine during the evening.
