2 ½ years:
Walks on tip toe
Can jump with feet off the ground
Can thread beads
Can put on and take off some clothes
Drawings are more representational
3 years:
Can walk upstairs with one foot on each step
Stands on one foot for a second
Rides a tricycle
Can dress a doll
Can draw recognisable image
Fasten and unfasten buttons
Can build a tower of nine blocks high
Starts to use scizzors
4 years:
Goes down stairs rapidly one foot per step
Carries cup of liquid without spilling any
Can copy a circle well
Can perform fine tasks better, e.g. setting the table properly, washing hands, packing clothes
5 years:
Walks in straight line
Goes down stairs on alternating feet
Climbs confidently
Enjoys quick-moving toys and games
