The first year in a person's life is a time of rapid development. At no other time does a baby develop at such a rapid rate and acquire so many skills.

It is an exhilirating (and exhausting!) time for parents. We've created this site for you. It will take you through the first year month-by-month, tell you when your baby is due for vaccinations, give information on common issues and give you an indication of monthly milestones. It is also loaded with lots of helpful hints.

 Newborn
Congratulations with your baby! You have now started a new journey in your life and we hope it will be filled with joy and happiness.

During the first few weeks after birth your baby is learning to adapt to the external environment (including temperature), and to changes in breathing and circulation.

 Month 1

Your baby’s first introduction to his/her new home is a special time for parents. But don’t be surprised if your baby cries more often, struggles to fall asleep or feeds more poorly than in hospital. Your baby has to adjust to his/her new environment and it will take a while to settle in.
