Dr Riekie Smit is an Aesthetic and Sports Physician. She has a private practice and medical spa, Vivacité Medical Spa, in Pretoria and Alberton. She specialises in aesthetic and anti-ageng treatments and has done intensive local and international training. Dr Smit is the chairperson of the Gauteng North South African Sports Medicine Association and the president of the Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa. She is also president member of the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine. She is the author of many articles and scientific publications and presenter at international congresses.
