Kim's trainer

Trainer Pieter Heyns says:

I am co-owner of a company called BLANK, which strives to provide a high-quality personal training experience that is most beneficial to our clients. We pride ourselves on having the best trainers Cape Town has to offer.

Not only are we exceptional in the field of one-on-one training, we also have long-standing success with running boot camps.

Our boot camps have been growing in leaps and bounds and are almost becoming more popular than the traditional one-on-one approach.

My partners include Tom Liebenberg, who will be training Tracy McGregor, and Neal Richardson, who will be my co-trainer with regards to Kim McGregor. Neal will be assisting in the training of both clients at an advisory level.

Qualifications:
ETA Certified trainer (Certificate in Personal Training)
GRAVITY Certified Trainer

Career History:
Joined Planet Fitness in 2003 as employee and has since been involved in personal training and personal training development.

Career Highlights:
In 2006, I appeared on popular SABC 2 kids' show 'Hip 2 B Square', where I spoke about the importance of health, fitness and nutrition.

In 2006 I was approached by the Argus and Heart 104.9 fm to train one of their DJ’s for the Argus/Sanlam Cycle Tour. This required daily training of Aden Thomas, Heart 104.9 fm’s morning DJ, as well as weekly appearances on his show talking about the importance of training and also preparing for the cycle race.

My programmes were also featured in the Argus newspaper every Friday for the 12 weeks leading up to the cycle race.

Neal Richardson was also very much involved with the training of Aden Thomas.

Aden finished the 109 km just before the cut-off time, which was more than anybody expected from him!
