I love to be pushed

This week was a bit hectic.

I went to Stellenbosch to commentate on the Coca Cola Craven Week for schools. Thus it was difficult to find the hours to train. Had to do a lot of planning regarding that, as well as taking water with me, of course being disciplined on my diet is difficult when you travel.

I took my training booklet with me, but it’s not the same without my trainer. Previously I trained on my own, but for the first time I have my own trainer. I love to be pushed at sessions, and to reach the short-term goals like reps and sets.

I only see now that you get results quicker with personal help than when you’re doing it alone.

The difference is that a trainer can keep you focussed on technique. It’s not about how much or how heavy (quantity) , but about technique (quality).

Discipline around diet? That’s the challenge! If all I need is not available, I focus on keeping away from dairy, breads and sugar.

Most important is water, to take at least two Aqua Bimini bottles a day. If I run out, I still focus on drinking 4 litres of water per day .Yes you visit a lot of toilets. Cleans your body out – loves it.

Getting stronger and bigger , but feeling GREAT.

Enjoy life – It’s short

Joost
