It hasn’t stopped raining in Cape Town yet! At least our dams are full, but as for coughs and colds, the endless rain doesn’t help!
I have been a very inactive Aqua Bimini Ambassador during the last 2 weeks because I’ve had a sore throat that won’t get better. Therefore, I’ve been very careful with the exercise routine and actually put it off for the moment, besides, my personal trainer also went on holiday.
This inactivity is no good for me – I’m feeling sluggish and promise to get back to my routine this week, but I have been religiously drinking the Aqua Bimini water.
The 5th of September was Secretaries’ Day and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Vineyard hotel after giving a presentation on breast cancer awareness.
What would we do without secretaries for our husbands, and ourselves? They seem to be the people who know everything – where you left a certain file, where to get a tyre fixed for the best price, and they can find anything on the internet!
Who hasn’t visited the Augrabiese Waterfalls at the Orange River, near Upington? I was privileged this weekend to experience the massive waterfalls, having been invited to do a talk on breast cancer in Kakamas.
I flew to Upington and then drove to Kakamas - this area is so peaceful and special, and so are the people. In the generous style of these small towns, I was entertained with good food and great company.
Cheers
Wilma
