Hi there! I had a very exhausting week (not quite the Argus Tour - although it felt like it), but brilliant!
We had school functions and other social activities to attend, which is always great and interesting, but also tiring if you have to get up at 5 am
A wonderful dinner with all the Aqua Bimini Ambassadors turned out to be lots of fun and we got some good tips from Reuben on cooking. (I wish I had him as a neighbour!)
People are incredible! At school there is a dad who has leukemia! Between the Sunflower Foundation and a couple of school mums we arranged a donor drive at school on Monday morning to find potential bone marrow matches! It was advertised in the media and about 20 different schools took part! The turnout was huge and about 230 people (adults between 18 and 50) were tested.
Thanks to all the caring people out there! If you want to know more about the Sunflower Foundation, please visit www.sunflowerfund.org.za
