Ok, I know I have been too distracted to write my blog, but here goes!
I’ve just returned from my latest trip to Europe where my first stop was Hamburg. Expecting it to be summer, I found myself wrapped in warm blankets working on a stunning horse farm outside the chilly city.
My hotel was close to a lake in the centre of town and I felt energized enough to go for a walk after work.
Ha, so I thought! Instead it turned out to be a 10km hike with all the active Germans doing their evening jogs.
I did try to keep up with them for the first couple of seconds. Well, that was the first and the last of my activities during my 2 week trip!
Getting to my next destination was quite a traveller’s nightmare since there were no direct flights to Corfu, I had to work through a booklet of connecting flights.
The clients I had to work with were French and hardly spoke a word of English, and the hours were long and hectic. The temperatures were extreme and so was the attention from the locals.
It was a very hard job, one that each of us gets once in a while and it makes you appreciate the other jobs so much more.
Being a traveller you leave behind your family and friends for short periods of time, and if at those times you do not occupy yourself with the people and the surroundings, it can get very lonely and sad.
But I have to add that through the whole ordeal I experienced calmness within and can only credit Aqua Bimini for this effect on me.
Since I have started drinking the water my temper has not risen to every occasion and opportunity!
The compliments I’m getting from professional make-up artists and hairdressers about the condition of my skin and hair says it all. My nails and hair are growing at alarming rates and I am afraid to tell clients I have short hair a month before a booking!
Well, not really that fast, but noticeably so.
