Soccer mom dilemma

I experienced the biggest dilemma as a soccer mom ever!

Arriving at a packed stadium filled with the fans of two opposing teams from the same city playing against each other was drama enough - so I thought - only to discover that my sons were supporting two different teams!

I have never hoped for a draw as much I hoped last Saturday, but unfortunately there was a winner, and to describe my oldest son’s disappointment is far to heart breaking.

My youngest took full advantage of his teams victory and no one could stop him from running around with his supportive team jersey, hat, scarf and outsized by the biggest flag!

The flight back was spent keeping them as far away from each other as humanly possible.

After two days home I was back on a flight to Germany for work. Room number 13 in the yo-ho hotel was a nightmare. I have never slept as bad or have been as scared on any trip ever.

When I questioned the hotel management about the room’s history I discovered that it used to be a rehab centre and a lot of the patients were confined to that particular room.

Well, I am off again tomorrow and am curious what surprises will unfold in this so far bizarre start of 2008.

Baci,
Tanya
