When Margot still had her business, she made herself rather unpopular with some of her colleagues by making a rule that smoking was not permitted inside the building. She smoked a few cigarettes herself every day and the other smokers felt a bit betrayed.

• Other peoples’ smoke can harm your health.
• You have a right to clean air and somebody smoking where it affects you, is against the law.
• You can put in an official complaint if your requests are not met
• In all public places, including restaurants, government buildings and places of work smoking is not permitted.
