Work and family stresses, responsibilities, childrearing and hormonal changes are all factors that interfere with sleep. Stick to the principles of good sleep hygiene: go to bed and get up at the same time every night and morning; use the bedroom for sleep and sex only (no television); eliminate caffeine; have small frequent meals; exercise early in the day.
