Motivation:
To participate in this bike ride is a huge privilege and opportunity for me, and is something I have always wanted to do. I love riding motorbikes, and I think that this initiative is an excellent way to raise awareness about Breast Health and early detection.
It also helps to bring a message of hope and inspiration, and to reach people in the communities – which is such a crucial need in our country. The social relevance of this ride is also the reason I wanted to participate.
I believe in making people aware so that women can be diagnosed earlier and therefore increase their chances of being cured. Being a survivor myself, these issues are very close to my heart.
I also feel that having been diagnosed with Breast Cancer was a gift for me and brought me a chance to live my life differently – with passion and freedom. Finally, I would like to represent Bosom Buddies on the ride – a project of the Breast Health Foundation - as I head up the Bosom Buddy initiative.
