The ladies on their way to George on Monday

For the next week, South Africa will be shook to its very core as babes on bikes rev their road-hogs across the country’s highways and byways - their mission: to create awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

The ladies have been on their bikes since Sunday, and touched down in George today on their way to Joburg from Cape town. They’re hoping to leave a mark on each town they visit, getting communities involved and educating women from these communities in each of the areas.

Sponsored by the Breast Health Foundation, the Biking for Breast Health initiative is running until the 15th October.

This is your chance to get involved and support the ladies on their journey. SMS the word BIKE to 36655, and you could be the winner of a brand new motorcycle! (SMS's cost R5)
