Read her first diary entry:
I have been a keen Motorcyclists most of my life. I was born into a biking family, so my Dad bought me a PW 50 and taught me in early years how to ride.

My Dad is the founding President of Christian Motorcyclists Association, which is an organisation that reaches out to Motorcyclists of all walks of life. Our ministry is specifically, but not exclusively for Motorcyclists. Our Motorcycles are used as a tool to reach people. I have been part of this organisation all my life.

I am so blessed to be part of Biking for Breast Health for so many reasons. Before we came on this ride, I tried to prepare myself spiritually, physically and spiritually.

Well I kinda succeeded but what I was not prepared for is the overwhelming response of the public, the need out there for breast health awareness. Every event and talk we have had so far have had the ladies completely riveted to the speakers. For a lot of women there is a real ignorance where breast health is concerned.

Being one of 13 other lady motorcyclists riding together this week, is an experience of a life time, especially considering that we are all women.

The country-side and roads are of the most beautiful in the world and we are travelling at a pace where we can appreciate it all.

Touching people’s lives in a real and practical way, is a passion in my life. I am fulfilled when I connect and benefit others. I trust that this project would be highly effective and beneficial to people we’ll be presenting to!

Motivation
I was born into a biking family and have been a keen motorcyclist for most of my life. My father bought me a PW 50 and taught me how to ride. He is the founding president of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA), an organisation that reaches out to motorcyclists from all walks of life. Our motorcycles are used as a tool to reach out to people, and the ministries are mostly aimed at motorcyclists. I have been part of this organisation all my life.

Today, my husband and I are in the leadership of the ministry and actively involved in full time work throughout the South Africa. I am the events co-ordinator and the personal assistant to the president of CMA. I am also involved in CMA International, which is represented in 22 different countries around the world.

It’s been said, “No-one cares how much you know until they know how much you care”. This project, Biking for Breast Health, is a practical demonstration of care and awareness to a very real everyday issue.

It is my privilege to be part of such a campaign, and to do it through one of my greatest passions, motorcycling, is a real honour.

Touching people’s lives in a real and practical way is a passion in my life. I am fulfilled when I connect and benefit others. I trust that this project will be highly effective and beneficial to the people we’ll be presenting it to.

Fascinating facts
Until they reach puberty, there is little difference between boys and girls when it comes to speed and strength. But girls do tend to develop physical skills more quickly.
