If you hear of someone who has swine flu, don't panic. Influenza A H1N1 (swine flu) is now part of our seasonal, circulating flu strains, and has been since 2012. Swine flu is no longer a pandemic.
Take action:
Get your annual flu shot, especially if you have a compromised immune system, as the regular flu vaccine now protects against H1N1. Treatment and care for swine flu remains the same as for other flu strains.
