WATCH Boost your veg intake like a boss

Carrot sticks in Tupperware are so last season. This is the pre-summer office snack you need right now

Mason jars: good for hipsters; even better for nine-to-fivers. Better than a tiffin, these are a smart way to pack an office lunch with a difference.

Simply fill a jar with a dip of your choice – think tzatziki or hummus – then add your favourite veggies. If you’re getting it right you’ll be choosing a variety of colourful options such as baby rainbow carrots, cucumber batons, slices of green or red pepper, baby corn, radishes or celery. The fresh produce aisle is the limit, really. Plus, Woolies has a pre-cut veggie range for seriously busy office types.

Basically, it’s the day-time crudité hack that raises the, er, jar.
