Childproof your bedroom

Danger Prevention
Perfume Poisoning Lock away
Don't carry in handbags
Nail polish/nail polish remover/toiletries Poisoning Lock away
Don't carry in handbags
Bedside table Poisoning Never leave pills in a bedside table.
Store in locked medicine cabinet
Candle Burns Never burn candles where children can reach them
Before going to bed, make sure candles are out
Batteries Poisoning/choking Lock away
Discard old batteries
Be particularly careful with small batteries (eg those used in watches)
Heaters Burns Only use heaters which applies to safety standards
Don't use a heater with an open grille
Don't hang clothes over heaters to dry and keep away from inflammable material
Always switch off when leaving the house or when sleeping
Fans Cuts Only use fans with close mesh covers
