Make some small changes to your eating habits before you quit and you will not be tempted to overeat:
- eat small meals at breakfast, lunch and supper, and concentrate on cutting down on fat intake
- have a small low-fat snack in between meals e.g. tub of yoghurt, dried fruit, fresh fruit, handful of nuts and seeds
- drink at least six glasses of water and add some flavour with sliced lemon/cucumber/strawberries/mint leaves
- take a general multivitamin and mineral supplement to help your body cope
