When being treated for conjunctivitis of one eye, always remember to place ointment/drops in the other eye too.

The bugs responsible for conjunctivitis can easily spread from one eye to another when you rub your eyes. Placing drops in both eyes prevents the healthy eye also being affected.

Also remember to never allow the tip of the ointment container to touch your eyelids.
