Cleaning your glasses with the corner your shirt is not a good idea. The dust particles trapped in your clothing can scratch the surface of the lenses.

Best is to wash the lenses with kitchen soap and water and dry them with a kitchen cloth. Remember to thoroughly clean the temple tips too.
