The Bristol Stool Scale is a nifty chart that classifies your poop into seven categories, each of which provides important clues about the health of your digestive tract.

Hard lumps? Sausage shaped? Snake like? Soft blobs?

The form of the stool depends largely on the time it spends in the colon, but there are other contributing factors, including diet and illness, that can determine the shape it's in.

Take a good look at your stools every day and compare them to the images in our tool.

It may just give you great clues to the state of your health.
