Don't let summer get you down

We're at that wonderful time of year, summer, most people's favourite season, is finally, indubitably here. The sun is shining and soon the beaches, parks and rooftop bars of South Africa will be alive and kicking. 

Be wary, though. The changing of the seasons is always a tricky time for your body. Air that's chockful of pollen is one problem, but there also always seems to be an uptick in the number of bugs and viruses going around while we shift into the summer mood.

Don't worry, this doesn't have to be a problem. Simply giving your immune system a little helping hand is usually all that's need to ward off the nasties. You don't need to break the bank either, there are a whole load of things in your kitchen right now that can give you all the immune-boosting help you need.
