With her enormous eyes and doll-like features, Anastasia Knyazeva is making international headlines – and she’s just six years old.

The Mirror reports the Russian youngster has been named the “most beautiful girl in the world” by her legions of Instagram followers.

Her mother, Anna, regularly shares pictures showcasing her modeling as well as candid snaps and videos with family and friends with Anastasia’s 560 000 followers.

"This is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Her eyes," one of her fans wrote. Another added, “I think she is the most beautiful girl on the earth.”

But some social media users have attacked her parents for not “letting her be a child”, Metro UK reports. “I'd like to know how much make-up her parents give her before each photo,” one wrote, while another commented, “'Why does not she smile? She is a child.”

Despite the criticism, Anastasia has caught the attention of major companies, featuring in high profile advertising campaigns. She’s become the face of Russian brand Chobi Kids and was also voted the face of Little Miss Aoki, a line from luxury children’s couture house, in October last year, The Daily Mail reports.

Anastasia, who’s represented by President Kinds Management, seems to be following in the footsteps of Thylane Blondeau, who was the youngest ever model to pose for Vogue at just 10 years old. According to The Mirror, Thylane, now 16, is now a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.
