Minister Aaron Motsoaledi will release HPCSA investigation report

Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will on Thursday, November 5, 2015 convene a meeting with the board of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and relevant stakeholders to officially hand over the investigation's report before releasing the same to the public.

The Minister will release findings and recommendations of the HPCSA investigation report after consultation with relevant stakeholders in Pretoria at GCIS, Tshedimosetso House.

In March 2015, health Minister appointed a high level Ministerial Task Team to "investigate allegations of administrative irregularities; mismanagement and poor governance by the Health Professions Council of South Africa."

The Ministerial Task Team finalized the investigation and handed the report with findings and recommendations to the minister.
