Q.

Zymafluor

I used Zymafluor tablets dayly as a child living in Pretoria South Africa. I have not had any problems with my teeth, no fillings or stuff. (They are still strong regardless of the many times I fell of my horses) I would like to pass that on to my daughter. She is currently 4 months old and I thought of starting the Zymafluor rx at 6 months of age. We live in New Zealand and according to the water spesialists their water has sufficient levels of fluoride. (they don' t say the level but i am finding that out) Once her baby teeth starts to show I will brush them with a very small amount of childs colgate, not rinse with any mouth wash only water. After every bottle she currently drinks a few sips of water to rinse the mouth as she is getting formula feedings. Can you suggest any steps / advise that i need to take before I start her on the Zymafluor tablets? What should the level of fluoride be in the water to make it sufficient as the only / primary intake of fluoride?

I do not suggest using Zymafluor tables if the water levels are deemed to be sufficient.
THE level recommended for optimal dental health is approximately 1.0 ppm (parts per million.

The first use of fluoridated drinking water occurred in Germany’s Nazi prison camps by the Gestapo who used fluoride to sterilize humans and force people into submission. http://www.wakingtimes.com/2014/01/24/iboga-matrix-pineal-gland-decalcification/ Maybe reconsider giving your child additional fluoride supplements.
