Q.

Wisdom tooth on lower jaw

Hi,

My mouth is feeling quite sensitive at the moment because my wisdom tooth on my lower jaw is starting to grow out from the gum. It doesn' t look like it' s growing skew or anything, so I really hope I don' t have to go have it removed.

My question is, is it normal for my mouth to be so tender? Or is that an indication that somethings wrong?

The reason why I' m putting off going to the dentist is because of financial reasons... I' m only on a hospital plan, which really doesn' t cover much at all.

It is normal to feel sensitive and tender as the tooth is erupting. It should carry on for too long. if it does you need to see a dentist.
If the gum is loose over the tooth or a part of the tooth, it would be recomended to consult a dentist.
