Q.

When to start brushing baby''s teeth

Dear Doc

I have a 10 month old and she has 6 milk teeth already. I have been trying to brush her teeth and its not easy as she just closes her mouth and also I am worried that the toothpaste (aquafresh for milkteeth) might have a neggetive impact on her. So when is the correct time to start brushing a baby''s teeth and using toothpaste? Also when would you recommend I take her to a dentist just for a quick check on her teeth though they are fine?

Experts advise starting to brush when the first teeth erupt.
The same goes for the first dental visit- when the first few teeth are erupted- have her seen to by a dentist
