Q.

tooth grinding

Dear sir or madam,
I have a habit of grinding my teeth, it has gone on for so many years that all of the enamel on my molars and pre molars are completely warn exposing the dentine. I want to stop gringing my teeth, but have no idea how to because I do it unawares, friends and family often see it and tell me to stop, as I''ve asked them to help me to stop. I don''t think gring my teeth in my sleep as no one has ever mentioned it.
Ideally, I would love to stop grinding my teeth are there any suggestions you can give me on this please?

See your dentist and have him discuss treatment options with you. A bite plate (mouth guard) is often used to treat the condition
