Q.

tooth broken below gum

I have a very unstable tooth that has now partially broken below the gum level. It also has a very large filling so i think there is probably more filling than tooth. Is it worth having a dentist trying to build it up if it is likely to break again or rather just have it extracted?

this decision is best made after having the tooth x-rayed.
this will determine the chances of saving the tooth
