Q.

tooth absys

Have had pain in my lower jaw for the past 3 weeks, went to the dentist on Monday, absys in my one tooth, could not extract.
Started on Flupen 250 &  Betapen, both 3 x day since Tues. I am using all sorts of painkillers, myprodol, adcodol etc, etc. I am in agony, thought child birth was bad. Cannot sleep, cannot eat, not even soft foods, battle to even clean my teeth, surely antibiotics should have started to work? Sick of feeling miserable. Extraction is out of the question, had four injections on Monday, as soon as the dentist touched my tooth, thought I would go through the roof! Please help

the injection should work after the course of antibiotic.s- if not it may be necessary to drain the abscess
