Q.

Tooth

Hi Dental Expert

I had root canal done to one of my teeth about 2 years ago, however I am now al of a sudden getting this sharp, sensitive pain in that same tooth when drinking hot drinks.

I have been for a thorough check up a week ago and nothing was wrong. Dentist took xrays etc.

I did not have the pain then. Please let me know what it could be and what I should do.

Thank you.

Janine

it could be the root canal tooth acting up again.
Without seeing the x-ray it is difficult to say what can be done.
