Q.

Teeth enamel and yellow

I have an almost 3 year old daughter, i tried to take her to the dentist for a check up ewhen she was two, that didn' t go well as she would not let the dentist even look in her mouth. It looks like her enamel is coming off and is yellow on her top 6 teeth by her gums. She brushes regularly, i give her zimaflor and she has stopped the bottle round about two yrs old. It does not look like it is rotting though, do you know of any dentist in the western cape, northern suburbs that are excellent with small kids. What caould the cause of this beand what could i do. As the yellow looks horrible and she must have these teeth till they fall out rounb about 7 or 8 yrs old.
Thank you

Sorry I am unfamiliar with dentists in the Cape.
The cause of the enamel eroding could be manifold: decay, certain conditions (amelogenesis imperfecta), certain medications etc.
It is essential to have the treated ASAP
