Q.

Swollen gums during pregnancy

Good afternoon. I''m struggling with swollen gums, currently 21 weeks pregnant. When brushing it tends to bleed a lot. Already invested in a soft toothbrush and sensodyne toothpaste, but even that irritates my gums. Is it safe to use mouthwash during pregnancy, and which ones will help with the gum problem? Corsodyl?

It is better to have a cleaning done at your dentist than using a mouthwash.
