Q.

Swelling

Good Day

I took out a tooth at the end of 2008, the bottom one at the end, it''s not a wisdom teeth cos i don''t have. Unfortunately the dentist couldn''t take out the whole tooth out so what is remaining keeps on swelling on the sides i''m not sure if it''s an infection but the moment the swelling starts it becomes so painful for some few days, what is the way forward i cannot keep on like this. Do i need to be operated?

it depends on what the diagnosis is after an examination and xray.
It will most likely need an operation
