Sensitive teeth and grinding

I' ve had sensitive teetht for the past few months and tried everything. I brush with Sensodyne toothpaste and rinse with Listere with fluoride and I' ve had 2 fluoride treatments. My dentist thinks I grind my teeth at night because I wake up each morning with a stiff jaw and neck. He made me a guard to sleep with. I can' t manage to keep it in because I suffer from chronic sinusitus and post nasal drip. What else can I do, because the pain is quite bad? He wanted to crown 6 of my teeth but my medical aid won' t pay.

The guard and the crowns are usually the only things one can do for the grinding.
Try to be as relaxed as possible before going to bed as this lessens the likelihood of grinding however wearing the guard is essential.
Speak to an ENT about the post nasal drip
