Q.

Sensitive teeth

Hi, for the past two week or so I have experienced some sensitivity on the left side of the top and bottom front teeth. I went to the dentist who said that she can see nothing that could cause it or any problems  just added some fluoride and said I should consider a bite plate...since I already use Sensodyne.

Most of the sensitivity has gone now, but I still have pain in the second tooth on the top left when I drink something cold. This is very strange to me since I have a root canal and apicoectomy on that tooth. Can this be the case when the root of the tooth is dead/ removed? or does it maybe mean something else is wrong?

if the tooth had a root canal plus apicectomy it should not experience cold sensitivity.
The pain could be related to the other teeth or there could be something else causing this.
Did your dentist take x-rays of the affected teeth?
