Q.

Rotten teeth

Hi there

My daughter is 4 years old. She has 8 rotten teeth including the ones at the back of her mouth. We spoke to a dentist who said we can get it removed in theatre. By removing these rotten teeth, will it take longer than usual for the permanent ones to grow? Or should we just wait until they come out on their own? She is not complaining of pain yet.

Regards

no the permanent usually erupt slightly earlier in these cases.
it is not advisable to wait for them to come out on their own. There is a strong risk of abscesses developing if these teeth are left untreated ad by then she would have suffered significant pain
