Q.

Rotten milk tooth

Good day Dr. My son is 3 years exactly and has a rotten upper tooth. He has been crying of pain since yesterday. What must I do. Will the denstit remove his milk tooth? How will this be done in terms of pain controll because he is too young to sit still on the chair.

children of this age are usually taken to theatre and the treatment is done while the patient is asleep.
removing/restoring the tooth will depend on the extent of decay.

I have realised that it is an abscess. It opened up and released pus. I still have not taken him to the dentist since he looked fine, and I gave him pynmed.
