Root Cannal Pls help

Hi Doc

I have been for a root canal over 3 sessions and say after week or so the there is still pain on that tooth I called the dentist and was told that the best she can do and recommended Antibiotics and if that fails she can then just remove the tooth. My point is when I had the TEMP filling after the root canal I had no pain what so ever it was in for 2 weeks , Its only when she put in the permanent sliver filling i started to experience all this pain. Is it because the of sliver filling or should she have put in normal white filling. I just feel that sliver is a conductor and maybe that’ s why its so sensitive. but she insists its not. Please help don’ t want to lose my tooth

the pain after the permanent filling is not related to the type of filling. if it persists after the antibiotics, get a second opinion to check the root canal treatment done
