Q.

Root Canal

I had route canal done, but my dentist said the routes are very shortl and he cannot seal off all the tubes. He says I can therefore not get a crown. He did route canal as best but says when this " fails"  he will need to extract the tooth and I will have to get an implant which I know is very expensive and for own cost. Please explain what this all means?

He could not clean all the root canal out- this does happen sometimes. If the root canal fails then an extraction is necessary.
It is much easier to undertand with pictures- ask your dentist to explain what this means- you are after all paying him for it.
