Q.

Root Canal

3 years ago had a crown replaced on second last bottom molar. With the activity around the tooth i had a lot of pain along the gums of the crowned tooth and the very last molar. But after a few weeks it subsided but has always been very sensitive specially when flossing as the gums have receded.

Now Recently I had the filling changed on the last bottom molar from and amalgam to a white filling. And for two weeks now I have had constant pain around the gums of both these teeth.
Drinking cold things or biting on the newly filled tooth the pain is excruciating. With drinking warm things the pain has subsided.

My question is it possible that the filling needs to be redone or could it be a more serious problem.
Thanking you

the fillings may be a bit "high" -have your dentist check them. They MAY need to be redone.
